Lead; worth it's weight in gold (almost)

I've seen several forums pick up on this eBay item that sold recently...

You read that right, nearly £1200 for a single miniature. It's a shame I don't have a couple in the attic. I have to wonder at who bought this. Who has that kind of money to drop on an old figure? Unless they are rich enough that it's of no concern to them, that's a pretty keen Chaos Dwarves collector. I suppose it goes up there with the'chicken dragon', a colossal lead model so called because it's about the size of a chicken which sells for a couple of thousand when they infrequently appear, and the first giant citadel produced which can reach a similar price if boxed.
